Lola's Yellow fabric is great

I got the Lola's Yellow fabric for my Peacock sofa, and wow, it really brightens up my living room. I was a bit worried about ordering a sofa online, but I ordered some fabric swatches first, and that helped a lot. The delivery took almost a month and a half, which felt like forever, but I guess that's how it goes with handcrafted stuff. The sofa itself is super comfy, like, I can really sink into it after a long day. It feels really well made, not flimsy at all. Putting it together was pretty easy too, which was a relief. All in all, I'm pretty chuffed with it, even with the wait. It looks awesome.

Good sofa, delivery was slow

I bought a 3-seater Chinchilla sofa in Deep Forest fabric. The ordering process online was straightforward, and I appreciated being able to get free fabric samples beforehand, which really helped confirm my choice. Delivery took about 6 weeks to reach Dallas, which was a bit longer than I hoped, but I understood it's a handcrafted item. When it arrived, the delivery guys were professional and set it up quickly. The quality of the sofa itself is very good; the fabric feels durable and the cushions are firm but comfortable. It seems well-made, and I like that it's sustainable. I had a small question about cleaning the fabric, and customer support was quick to respond via email. Overall, a positive experience, though patience is needed for delivery.

Gumboot sofa is comfy

Got the Gumboot sofa. Nice and comfortable. Delivery was on time, no issues. Fabric feels sturdy. Happy with the purchase. Good value.

can you stack coupon codes at checkout? i have a referral code and also saw a seasonal sale code.

N Nick 3 months ago

Nah, pretty sure it's one code per order. Tried it before and it only lets you apply one.

A Amber 3 months ago

Yep, can confirm. Only one coupon at a time. Most stores are like that these days, unfortunately.

Are Schplendid sofas actually good for pets? I have two cats and a dog and need something that can withstand them.

A Anna 2 months ago

YES! I got the stain resistant fabric (Dry Martini, I think) and it's been a lifesaver with my golden retriever. Spills wipe right off and the fabric holds up really well to claws. Definitely recommend.

They have pet-friendly options, yeah. Just make sure you pick one of those specific fabrics. My cat still tries to scratch but it's held up way better than my old sofa.

Thinking about getting a Gumboot sofa, but what's the typical delivery time like for folks in, say, NYC? Don't want to wait forever.

L Laura 3 months ago

Hey! I'm in Philly and it took about 8-9 weeks for my Chinchilla. NYC might be similar, give or take a week.

J Julia Silva 3 months ago

Mine was surprisingly fast, like 6 weeks to Boston. But that was for a 2-seater, I think bigger ones take a bit longer based on what I read.

Anyone compared a Schplendid sofa to a Loaf one? The Peacock sofa looks great, but wondering about the real difference in comfort/quality.

O Omar H. 2 months ago

I had a Loaf and swapped it for a Schplendid Lola's Yellow (3 seater). Schplendid feels more solid and definitely more comfortable for lounging. Loaf was nice but felt a bit 'fluffier' if that makes sense.

L Lisa 2 months ago

My buddy has a Schplendid and I have a Loaf. Both are good, but I think Schplendid wins on the 'sustainable' front and the cushions feel a bit denser, in a good way.

Does Schplendid do any deals for first-time buyers? Like a welcome discount or something when you sign up for emails?

R Rachel 2 months ago

Yeah, they usually have one! I got 10% off my first order after signing up for their newsletter. Check their site, it should pop up.

J Josh 2 months ago
